Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration

UEE32211 – Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration provides competencies to select components, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment that apply to food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air distribution equipment in buildings and premises. It includes regulatory requirements for purchasing and handling refrigerants.

Assessment:
The assessment of each unit of competency will take place during the course. Assessments will take the form of written assessments, classroom exercises and / or practical tasks through workshop observation and demonstration and Log Book in our classroom / engineering workshops.

Packaging Rules:

To achieve a Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32211)
A total of 28 units must be completed:
25 core units
Plus 3 elective units

A combination of Elective competency standard units to achieve a total weighting of 60 points in accordance with the Elective Competency Standard Units table on  https://training.gov.au/Training/Details/UEE32211

Elective units must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.

Academic requirement:
Successful completion of Australian Year 10 or equivalent with satisfactory completion of mathematics and physics.
